• Transplanting Roses while Food Party Planning is a Good Idea!

It will be my daughter’s birthday in a few weeks and I get giddy with the idea of throwing a party in our house. Well, we usually spend our birthdays in restaurants and hotels so I don’t have the slightest idea how a food party planning takes place.

The solution did not come easy. I called up my closest girlfriends and asked for their help. The brainstorming is a mess until we all arrived to a decision that the party should be held in our garden. Everything was set and assigned accordingly except for one – transporting roses! Now, I do not have any choice but to do it alone. None of my girlfriends love and know how to plant. All they know is to receive roses!

So, for the next few days, while I am busy transplanting my roses to their new beds, my girlfriends are pouring their energies on food party planning!

  • My Love for Climbing Roses and Rose Planting

I am enchanted by the beauty of the roses. I love its colors, textures and beauty. Since I was a kid, I have loved to grow roses in our front lawn. I would make a rose bed or grow roses on pots. Rose planting had been a part of my life since then.

Until now, that I have my own family and house, my love for rose planting had grown. My latest rave is the climbing roses. I have seen it when I watched a classic film. Oh, how lovely to have those climbing roses in our garden! I can’t help not to imagine myself a rose queen when I walk in my rose kingdom.

So, I asked my husband to make an arch-type support (just like what I saw in movies) and started planting the climbing roses. I can’t wait to see the climbing roses in full-bloom! Too happy with rose planting!
