I went in October when the leaves were falling, and if I could recommend any time of year to travel to New England, it would be during the fall.

I started out my tour by traveling around the city of Boston itself and seeing all of the historic sites as well as a few fun places, like the bar where the show “Cheers” was shot and Fenway Park.

What I loved the most about Boston was that it is definitely a modern city, but it very much has an historical feel to it at the same time.

When I decided to travel to New England, I had no idea how close everything would be. I’m from Texas, and I expected to have to drive hundreds of miles to get from one state to the next, and it really was not like that at all.
