I borrowed one of these from a lender of medical durable equipment when I had my 1st hip replacement. The multi-grip surfaces make it very useful. Our bathroom is very small, so I was able to set it up on the tub across from the toilet. It was used to help lift me from the toilet and onto the bath bench in the tub. My mom, 92, really likes it.

She has sciatica and neuritis and can now get off the toilet and get onto and off of the bath seat. Now that I have healed from my 2nd hip replacement I need to return it, so I am ordering this one for my mom from Amazon who has the best price I’ve found.
