A left handed keyboard has the standard configuration of letter keys i.e. QWERTY. The only difference is that the accessory keys i.e. insert, arrow, delete amongst others together with the number pad are located on the left side of the letter keys. The main goal of left handed keyboard is to provide left handed people key arrangement that gives them best comfort and allow them maximum usability. However, right handed people can also benefit from left handed keyboards since the right hand position of accessory keys has small ergonomic advantage. People whose job entails encoding volumes of paperwork that involves numbers can do it with ease without the hassle of rearranging your hands, wrist, and fingers. And since the numeric keypad is located on the left side, it allows you to align your mice nearer to your body which in turn can prevent acquiring RSI.
