In the event you know me a little, you already know that I am Belgian.

In Belgium, we often celebrated All Saints Day and the Day of Deaths on 1st and 2nd of November rather than Halloween and i can’t say that they are subjects quite funny to write about.

In Belgium also, the weather is usually rainy, so, because I work in a school, young children are often inside as opposed to outside and i constantly must discover an activity for them so that they are not bored.

This week I also had to seek out some Halloween night subjects to write about.

So, I observed the solution: rather than writing an write-up devoted to Halloween night and referred to as “top ten Halloween night children costume” based on articles and data written by adults, I asked the young people what are the Halloween night costumes they would like to gown on October 31st.

I should acknowledge that I was terribly disappointed. When I was a youngster, I adored becoming dressed up as a princess, baroness, White-Snow, etc. For Carnival, the boys had been all dressed like Robin Hood, The prince of Arabian Nights, cow-boy, indian, musketeers.!.

But what variety of outfit do the 2007 youngsters like?

I requested the young children at college what variety of costume they desire to dress for Halloween.

The answers had been diversified even though they didn’t have significantly of magical touch.

“What form of Halloween night costume would you like for Halloween, Sylvie?”

“Scream’s outfit which includes the mask obviously, Madame Domi!”

She is only 10 many years old! I thought that her response would be a Cinderella or Esmeralda outfit. It was not! She wanted to dress the Scream’s murderer costume. Why? Because Scream was probably the most interesting movie she discovered!

Anas answer was the following one:

“I need to costume a rich witch costume, which has a pointy hat, a black wig, a significant hooked nose using a massive button on it, lengthy nails like claws and pointed shoes”.

Agon hesitated between the Devil’s outfit: the exact same as inside the bible, which has a tail, a fork, horns.!!. or perhaps a pirate costume.

“As Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean?” I asked to him.

“No, sometimes pirates are skeletons and that i want to be a skeleton-ghost-pirate.”

Another one answered:

“I would like to gown the Monster Mash outfit, Madame”.

The kid most likely heard talking about the Monster Mash when he watched The Simpsons’ Halloween show. I love the Monster Mash song but never discovered the Monster Mash in person and i tend not to believe that an individual noticed this monster and knows what variety of costume he dresses.

The youngest children interviewed want to dress a Superman or a Batman costume.

My greatest surprise was Cynthia’s reply, who we call Brutus simply because she just isn’t a delicate young girl. Cynthia desires to decorate a princess outfit.
