There are several different ideas about Reiki Hand Positions. The traditional method was taught by Dr. Usui for a systematic way of applying Reiki to a recipient. However, Mrs. Takata who was Dr. Usui’s patient, and then became a Reiki Master, would teach her students to follow their intuition.
