When it comes to infant teething, some parents may hear or read about that teething starts around six months. Well, that can be the case for some babies, it’s not necessarily the case for all babies. The reason being is that different babies will teeth at different times. You may see some babies teething at three months while others will not start until six months or a bit longer. You may even here of a rare case of a baby being born with the teeth already starting to come out. There are even some people who say that premature babies will start teething late, but that is not always true with every premature baby. You just really don’t know exactly when your baby is going to start teething s just keep your eyes out for some signs that may indicate that your baby is starting t teeth.
One of the signs might be that your baby gets a fever when they start to teeth. You might see them holding their hand to the mouth because they are feeling the pain. Also, you might start noticing that they are refusing to eat or drink the bottle. Again, this can be due to the pain that they are experiencing. If you think that the teething process is starting, then check for swelling on their gums. In addition, if you see your baby biting down on things, then this could be another sign of infant teething.
