All things go in cycles. For children, this can be influenced by the movies or television shows that they see, and also by what they see their peers taking an interesting in. For a while, my daughter loved the Wiggles, but she seems to be growing out of them and into more of the things that her classmates are talking about. One of the more recent trends that I have noticed is that many girls are into fairies. This came to my attention when my daughter asked for fairy costumes for play. I looked them up, and they are very numerous right now.

Fairy costumes and honey bee costume is always been around, but there are more when a movie or television show starts to feature them. There is a new Barbie movie about fairies, and that might explain why there are many buying fairy costumes right now. Though some are based on the movie that is coming out, but there are many other ones more generic in nature that are also available. Some children don’t care which costume of fairies they get, as long as they have one.

Bee  Costume includes: sexy lady bug costume with wings, gloves, head piece, and thigh hi.  The lightning bug costume does not use batteries and is perfect for children who want to go trick-or-treating at night, because it is easily visible.  Parents will enjoy the safety aspect of this costume, while children will be the envy of every other non-glowing trick-or-treater.  

Young children should always be accompanied by a responsible adult. You can guide them from house to house, crossing streets and then stand a distance away as they ring the doorbells, to avoid embarrassing kids who are older than seven or eight. With younger kids, this isn’t usually an issue.
