When it comes to bridal shower cakes, maybe you can consider making one that is based on the wedding gown that the bride will be wearing on her wedding day. It’s probably a good idea to check with who ever is going to make the bridal cake to make sure that they can do it. You should also get with them one to two weeks before the shower to make sure everything is going to workout fine. Be sure that the colors of the shower cake will match or at least complement the bridal theme. When the cake arrives on the day of the shower, be sure to store it in a safe place because the last thing you want is for someone to accidentally knock it over on the floor.
On the other hand, maybe you might decide to go with a towel bridal shower cake which can be an attractive way to create bridal shower centerpieces. These can also be presented as gifts. First of all, make sure that the colors of the towels that you are planning to use match the colors of the shower decorations. Next, you need to decide what you are going to do with the towel cakes since they can be used as centerpieces or just given away as gifts. Once that is decided then fold two large towels along their length twice and pin the two towels together. Then you can roll the pinned towels and put the gifts between the rolls. Next pin them together at the edges and place the edged side facing downwards. Now, get two smaller towels and repeat the process to create a second layer. Finally, you will then get two hand towels and use those as the top layer. You can then wrap each layer with ribbons and pin them all together to form a three layered shower cake.
