Once I finally learned about the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act I gained power because I knew what was afforded me under the law. These clowns could not call me at work or at the wee hours of the night. I learned about the proper way to send them a letter telling them that enough was enough! Don’t call me an harass me anymore!

All I had to do was read and learn a little. Dealing with debt collectors was not my problem any longer. My problem was redirecting my life to correct the ways of the past, even if they were not my fault entirely. Once I knew what was available to me I was able to sleep at night and operate in the daylight with out fear.
