As I child i grew up with little house on the prarie. I absolutely love that show. For holloween,I came up with the great idea for my daughter: Dress her up in a Colonial Girl costume for Halloween. She enjoys the show, as well.

My family is not all that crazy about vampires and ghosts and what not; I figure, going with the more wholesome dress, we can become closer as a family. I have also thought about dressing up in a Historical costume so I can have just as much fun as my kids do.

When I presented the idea of the outfit to my daughter Kelly, she was overwhelmed with excitement. Everyday she would ask me whe I was going to get her that costume, even though Halloween is not quite here.
